or blue tint when viewed from the edge. Molten glass is is shaped in a
mold. It looks clear, but has bubbles that are formed during the cooling
process. Optical clear glass is considerably more expensive to produce
than jade or blue glass. The finest quality of clear crystal glass is
optical quality.

crystal quality and lead-free. With no lead content optical glass is
clarified to a 100% optically-clear state, resulting in a perfectly
clear glass that shines brightly under any light source. Do not mistake
it for lower quality commercial glass or crystal.
Optical Glass Crystal is the
finest glass available and creates a beautiful reflection of a
vase or perfume bottle surfaces with
depth and clarity. It is the same glass quality that is used for making
eyeglasses.
